| well well well.
it's time to bring it back. Becca 2 brought back her xanga and i read her witty post. i mean, i was planning to start posting again to keep all in the loop...but uh, now its fun.
boy. this week has been a bit odd. unfortunately, i've begun watching lost. theres no reason for it. ive never seen it before this week and i took the week off to prepare for my worldwide journey. its not a particularly comforting show to watch before getting on several planes across oceans. its not a great show and it's not a good week to be spending time watching tv.
thing is, i've been having a rough time getting things done. Becca said she's been not seeing people she loves. i've been seeing people i love and not doing stuff. i cant pack. i dont get it. in a month from today it will be clear that i DID pack and DID leave for marrakech and nairobi. but right now...i like getting a lot done in a day--and a quick run, traffic ticket dealing, pseudopacking + shopping + meeting loved ones for nice last suppers (all of a sudden people want to buy me dinner!) isnt enough to make me feel i've accomplished enough in a day.
its hard to explain. anyway, i'm excited, subconsciously worrying like crazy and feeling sick, praying, packing and watching lost. it all feels a bit surreal and i think its software testing and writing withdrawl.

| I've already got more than enough Craigslist material to write a book (my nanny job, my car, etc.) lotta stories and some end well and others are..at least entertaining to read.
but i never saw this before:

strictly platonic. these people need friends! what are we doing all hanging out with each other and watching tv? cmon! let's go! friend people!
note: before facebook it would be "befriend people" but i think im going to help phase it out since the be is completely unnecessary.

| Before i forget:
weekend involved:
homemade guacamole, redcat and catchphrase at leahs thanksgiving day parade. monopoly (i killed everyone) at jitters missing friends who were not around. hockey (they scored in the last 30 seconds) running to becca2s in a blizzard heartbreaking discussions disturbing claymation christmas movies and eggnog ("santa claus is coming to town" and the burgermeister.) cappuchino and mcdonalds with becca2..deep discussions about things like her future and my predicament. awesome sermon at fathers house. seeing jon and noah and sarah on thanksgiving. dogsitting a sick old dog. yelling. live free or die hard. guitar hero with the boys. seeing john for a few minutes. tears. crocheting and commentators at jenn and rachels. the park the bookstore the asia with bekah football with the million raking teenagers at my place today. touchdown. running to and up and down black creek's hill with textbooks in my backpack. writing music on my guitar and recording it.
bekah 2 and i tonight: went to the park (and parked on opposite sides of the river from each other -- hidenseek. walked forever and didnt get attacked in any way. drove to ollies. read ridiculous "inspirational" titles, bought too many books and PEEKAPOOHS! this is big. ponypooh and sunshine pooh. went to the asia food store. man walked over "you've GOT to try this! its free for girls like you!" (handed me a 4.00$ bubble tea for free. left to make bekah one). returned with second tea and tried to convince us to get a.) anchovies and b.) hottest ever chili sauce. (cause "i am a hot guy!")
